- The 74 languages and voice translation need Wi‑Fi (or data shared from your phone).
- Offline it translates 10 languages. Italian and Portuguese only work on Wi‑Fi.

- It includes features for Chinese learners (pinyin, Chinese dictionary). If you don’t need them, simply don’t use them.

Is the menu in English?
Yes. The pen has 12 system languages, including English and Spanish: every menu and button on screen appears in your language.
Do I need Wi‑Fi?
For the 74 languages (142 regional variants) and for voice translation, yes: connect it to your Wi‑Fi or share your phone’s data. Offline you can scan and translate in 10 languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Cantonese. Italian and Portuguese only work on Wi‑Fi.
What can it scan, and what not?
It recognises printed text: books, notes, magazines, restaurant menus, instructions or documents, in many different fonts. It has a multi-line mode for paragraphs. It isn’t designed for handwriting or for reading screens.
Does it help with learning languages?
Very much. Besides translating, it reads aloud so you hear the pronunciation, has a built-in dictionary and a word bank where you save new words with one tap to review later.
Can I send what I scan to my phone?
Yes. With the sync feature, scanned text (in 52 languages) appears on your phone so you can copy, edit or save it to your notes.
How does it charge and how much does it weigh?
It charges via USB‑C and has an 820 mAh battery. It weighs 67.5 g and measures 15.3 × 3.3 × 1.5 cm: it fits in any pencil case or pocket.
